I recently bought this frag for $10 but I’m not quite too sure what it is. Also, in the first image (present time) the polyps are down, is this an indication of decreased happiness or too much flow?

Looks like galaxea. If so, be careful what you place nearby...... they can have extremely long sweeper tentacles.

Any placement ideas? I’ll send a pic of my aquascape. Also, does it appear to be healthy?

i would probably drop it down to that first rock on the left and see how it does. It looks pretty good so far.
