So I went to buy some saltwater supplies from Craigslist and the seller included some coral for free. Now I need some help identifying it. In addition my tank is rather early in the cycling process, do these coral have any chance at surviving? I wasn't expecting to add any this soon. Thanks for your help.

Some type of browned out zoa and possibly a mushroom ? How old is your tank ?

My tank is only 3 weeks old. I went to pick up some additional supplies from a craigslist seller and he just included them for free. Otherwise I wouldn't dare think of putting coral in a tank this new.

It's hard to tell what specific kind they are but they more then likely they will not survive if you have any friends with a mature tank I would ask them to hold the coral for you till your done cycling.
