I also added the leather coral right above the anemone....I think it might be a yellow toadstool. JFTR I moved it this morning to the left of the anemone in the spot just forward of the scallop(red) in the middle.

It looks like a meat coral, acanthophyllia. The leather is a toad stool. The leather will get very big. Mine was easily over 12" in diameter. Before i cut it off my rocks.

Thank you so much... it is indeed a Meat Coral acanthphyllia. Now that I know exactly what it is.... taking care of it should be easier...lol

Looks awesome today opened up nicely....

Hasn't opened up "inflated" in a couple of days . It and my bubble coral don't look too good.

My PH was on the high side on Sunday I did a water change . I was past due by 5days...(levels are now back to normal)I also have recently used coral putty on two of my other corals. I was wondering if that might be a problem.

Unfortunately is looks like swings in chemistry are an issue. If you used underwater epoxy there should be no adverse effects.

well...I work till 5 today so I will get a chance to see them during peak hrs(light) by the time I get home they could simply be tired and be ready for lights out.

Acanthophyllia generally do better on the sandbed as well.
Thank you...I moved it to the sandbed right before it closed up....It could have been simply the stress of me moving it.

Thank you..I had read that it would do better on the sand....that perhaps could have stressed it out.......my bubble has recovered pretty well too.
