Pretty stumped on this one. I’ve heard blasto, even acantho, but I’m thinking just a rhodactus.
Coral ID - is this even an LPS?

It looks like some sort of mushroom, hard to tell from the photo. Does it have a hard skeleton underneath?

It felt all squishy to me. The thing is though that whole rock you see it on is actually a coral skeleton (looks like an LPS) glued to the main rock. So it could definitely be just receding into the skeleton, and I just cant feel any "bump" or extended part of a skeleton.
But I am also leaning towards a teal/orange rhodactus mushroom. Was hoping that an LPS expert here would know forsure if this was an LPS or not.

Im not an expert by any means but it definitely looks to be a mushroom of some sort, rhodactis also seems to be a good guess on the type.

Got some more really good photos today, and I’m definitely thinking this is an LPS. I don’t think a rhodactus or any mushroom would have those sweeper tentacles.

I am sorry! I meant feeder tentacles. I am not crazy and they are visible, right? That would make it some sort of LPS?

Just some mysis I could potentially try chopping up a piece. This coral is smaller than a dime though, probably half the size of a dime.
Yes that is what I am looking at! Glad others can see it. Guess it is confirmed to be an LPS! Now, what LPS??There are feeding tentacles.

I was going to say, take some tank water and thaw out the mysis. Once thaw, take the liquid and smother the coral with that. If you have a turkey baster, that works wonders, or any kind of syringe. Not the actual mysis. It should throw out a big feeding response. You'll need to turn off water flow.

The seamlessness to it kinda of reminds me of echinata but just a weird overall growth of the coral….

Could be for rock shape reasons. It's still small and can grow out better as it matures. It's basically a bud establishing.
I have no idea how the op obtained the coral, if it was an accident or what.
