Coral ID MILLIPORA.

Hope ya all good...

Can anybody tell me what millipora this is? There are so many names out there & om fairly new to sps so im just taking a shot in the dark, fellow reefer was selling it & jist couldnt leave it...

Not all corals have fancy names. A lot are still brought in from the wild and are unnamed, this may be one like that. It also may be a named one, but I’m not sure off the top of my head.

If it did not come with a name and a lineage, then it does not have one. It is just A. Millepora.

Closest I could cone to via pic comparison & description is PURPLE RAIN MILLEPORA, with saying that it was on only one site..

I don't really think it needs a name unless you plan on selling it and the name would help to maximize it's value.if I had to name it I would call it" pretty milli".i'm not a fan of the name game anyway.

not sure what ya paid but it looks like a healthy coral with lots of potential.

Looks exactly like copps hulk millepora which I do sell. Pink/red skin with teal polyps.
