Coral ID? One possibly didnt make it?

I bought 2 SPS frags the other day and I forgot the names, can anyone identify or give a guess on what it is? I wont have a chance to make it back down to the store until next week to ask again.

I think the white looking one wasn't doing well and im curious if i should remove it? None of my other frags look like that and i bought it for its "grass like" look, not white and dull.

First one looks dead. I don't remove them until they are covered over by something, cuz you never know.
2nd maybe a cyphastria?

sad! I dont really see any green color like it had before. The other one does look like Cyphastrea, just not sure what specific kind or color. Thanks for the response so fast!

1st was/is a pavona, potato chip coral.

Thanks! pavona sounds about right and fits the description.

I also bought a more colonized zoa plug, I think a Protopalythoa.. the worker put that and the pavona in the same container

When i got home to dip it, the container stunk the whole house up like rotting something. The zoa was oozing a clear mucus slime. I tried dipping and gently wiping some off, but it just kept oozing off the frag to the point of saying **** it and I threw it in my tank. Maybe the slime was harmful to the other coral and it didn't like the car ride?

**I just removed the dead pavona and it smelled awful, just like when i first opened the containers to dip them. i dont recall any of my other corals giving off a scent. Im not really sure why i threw that one in my tank, i just hoped it would bounce back. Much thanks for the attention on my post.

1st one was pavona. 2nd one looks more like galaxea to me when you zoom in on the tentacles.

Take it back and tell them the employee put them in the same container. Coral warfare is real and now you see what happens.

Interesting, could be maybe. They throw some long sweepers if it is.

Those were the zoas that were kept in the same container with the pavona that died.

I picked them and just had to have them for the Teel color and way they extended. Hopefully they aren't harmful to the other corals.
