It is a little small. That's what it is. It looks a little more pink than blue. Iodine dosing is good for softies.@FLAdaboy Cespitularia is neat looking, but the polyps on my coral don't seem to be as long or flowy, unless it just hasn't grown enough yet
Never thought about iodine dosing before, will have to dig deeper into that.It is a little small. That's what it is. It looks a little more pink than blue. Iodine dosing is good for softies.
It's definitely not from the original Kenya Tree this was purchased separately but the store had just labeled it as soft coral.I second the Kenya Tree guess... especially since you have one in there already. They drop limbs that float around until they attach and grow somewhere else. $10 says that's what you're looking at.
Okay cool. I'm not against it being a Kenya Tree, in fact they are one of my favourite corals. It just doesn't look like the one I know is a Kenya Tree. It would definitely be exciting to have a second type of Kenya Tree. In fact I'd be overjoyed if they decide to grow into a whole forest. .. Can you tell I'm a soft coral fanIt looks like a Kenya Tree to me as well.
I have two different varieties in my home DT and another in the office DT and all are certainly different types of Kenya Trees.
Or at least that what was what I was told they were when purchased.
