Got this from our lfs and was told it’s a dendro but it doesn’t have the characteristics of a dendro. We were told it’s non photosynthetic so has to be target fed which we have been doing. I can’t do macro shots but these are the pics I have of it. Any additional information would be great.

Looks like a dendro to me aka carnation coral. Very difficult species to keep. Hopefully your LFS told you that? They feed on plankton at night, definitely non-photosynthetic. Try spot feeding it's tentacles after the lights go out.

We were told that it is difficult to keep. I didn’t even know it had tentacles. Will pass on the info to hubby

It looks like some sort of sponge to me. These do come in all kinds of colors, sizes & shapes. Maybe not though.

Gorgeous, very healthy

What ever food you use , use fuana marin instructions to a point. Example: get a container small with sealable lid. Add dry food, add display tank water to it, shake vigorously. Let water obsorb food, by letting sit. Longer sit better softens food. Shake again. Start using. Target feed.

Thanks a bunch. Found this, looks pretty dang close to what I’ve got
