They look konda like blue cloves.. but are very tiny... all seem the same size or smaller so I'm guessing they are full grown... pictures arnt the greatest... I found them in my fuge in a hard to get a pic spot

It's the tiny blue polyps in the rock

There are xenia and anthilia in the tank.. as well as the African blue xenia or the coral named above but I can't remember how to spell lol..

They kinda look like blue cloves.. but smaller.. and not so much like a snowflake like the blue cloves I see pictured on Google

it looks like they have a stalk so I'd be led to believe that it's some kind of xenia but heavans knows I've been very wrong in the past.

These are Xenia polyps

I see xenia and clavularia. Xenia's polyps derive from a stalk and clavularia/anthelia polyps derive from a mat. Clavularia has the ability to fully retract its polyps, anthelia can't fully retract it's polyps.

I'm speaking about the tiny blue specks/corals in between the xenia stalks..
I will try to get a clearer pic today..

I have clavularia in my system... one of my fav corals..

They don't seem to be growing on a mat... just individual tiny polyps..

Those are indeed clavularia (clove polyps), the mat can be thin and string-like. It doesn't have to be a continuous flat mat, it can spread with a network of strands throughout the colony.
