Coral ID please

I think I know what this is but not quite sure. Oddly, black perc made it its home.

Looks like an acan to me. I first thought mushroom, but appears to have a layer for tentacles around the outside.

I was thinking Favia initaillay. Could be acan. Definitely not a mushroom. It has a dense coral skeleton. It's around 2” in diameter.

Is it one large polyp? Possibly a lobophyllia. If you can, take a few more pics.

I would agree on possibly a lobo or maybe a deflated scoly

I would agree with the above, but I see some parts of the skeleton that are specific to acans. Just my 0.02

Yeah. One giant polyp. I’ll take some take some more pics later

I googled all and none seem to match. I’m half the world away and my lights are off now. I’ll perhaps take better pics when I wake up. The frag is huge actually. Maybe 3” deep. I have 4 feather dusters hanging on the skeleton and another soft coral trying to grow on the back end. Got this in the discount section at my LFS. Such a win.
