May I please get an ID on these corals. The only one that seems to be thriving is #1. Should I move the others to different heights within the tank to see if they do better? They've been in the tank for almost 2 months. Right now they are all on the bottom of my 30G tank. I have a Viparspectra 165W that sits about 8" above the surface.

Thank you

#1 Zoas - I forget which, Jokers or something.
#2 Candy Cane
#3 Some kind of Clove Poylp
#4 Zoas, can't tell what kind

/How long have they been in the tank?
I'll also want to know tank size and type of lights, how high are they above the tank etc. But really they're all lower light corals that should be fine on the bottom. It's much easier to blast a coral with too much light than for them to have not enough. Well, within reason.

Very cool, with that black box you can grow anything you like but can easily overpower. What are your white and blue channels set at? And since they've been in there two months I would also like to know parameters because they should be settled in by now.

The candy canes and star polyps would probably like it if you cleaned off the algae growing on their plugs. Tweezers or toothbrush, if you use a toothbrush be very careful not to brush on the flesh of the corals, tweezers and scraping with your fingernail may be safer. Then after that I would drip some hydrogen peroxide onto the frag plugs where the algae was growing. I give them a quick dip in some tank water before I put them back in but I don't think it's really necessary some people dose H2O2 so if a little gets in it's not a big deal imo. It will help prevent it from coming back. I can't quite tell but it looks like you have some other corals in the tank, are they doing well?
