I was given this receding LPS to try to recover it. I'm not sure what it is. Ignore the walling hammer, same situation, I'm trying to rescue him (despite being absolutely unequipped).

It seems to be recovering a bit - any suggestions on what I can do to help him along?

I'd keep it low light. Keep detritus from settling on it but no major flow. I have the same pink lobo in my tank. Slow grower so I assume a slow recovery as well.

So far my lawnmower blenny has done a good job at about 1/2 of it. Luckily there's not a whole lot of other algae in my tank so he tends to hang out near the couple of things that do have algae. I'm reluctant to use something like peroxide given he's so upset already.

Even the blenny could irritate it .

He's thankfully been sitting completely around the outside so I think maybe okay. Do you know what recovery will look like? Will he grow back into his skeleton or kind of grow a new lobe or something? I've never had any sort of LPS which has had this level of receding

It’s hard to say …
In order for it to regrow over the exposed skeleton it will require perfect and stable parameters .
No pests or livestock picking at it , not getting blasted by flow .

I’d search on here if you can find nutrients to dose if needed
from my experience . When they start to recede it’s not long until they are gone .
But that’s starting out healthy and gradually receding and. It correcting what’s causing the issue
