I received this in a coral frag pack I bought. Is this a Zoa?

Yes this is a flowerpot coral they are in the impossible group of corals. They are found in marshlands so they are found in dirtier water. My flowerpot has the same exact extension as yours. Not so happy. I was told to try to feed them often and give them enough flow to have them dance around a little. I'm not having the best luck with them but I'm also not having the worst luck either. Good luck with yours. And if yours starts opening up more and coming out let me know what you did so I can try it to. Lol

That is probably why they guy I bought the frags from threw it in as a freebie. I'll give it a shot and see how it does. I keep my water pretty clean so we'll see.

Yes sir I've had one yellow one for probably four months and I just got a pink one two weeks ago both were thrown in as freebies because they were doing so well in their tank. I've only met one person that has successfully kept them. I'd say try your best to keep them and try to find a new home for them in the meantime so if the coral isn't doing so well you can give them to the new home and see what they can do. Which is what I'm probably going to have to do. I'm not sure exactly what they eat they don't seem to like to eat any food at all they were tracked in the skeleton every time I try to feed them. Mine seem to do a little better with small powder food but they still don't eat it but they also don't hide from it.
