Was told its a LPS but arnt hydnoporas SPS?hi,looks like a favia and a hydnopora "green horn"![]()

grow like sps !!!So they are a LPS but grow like SPS? Is that what you meant mate? Hope they survive, fairly new tank 2 months, parameters are reasonably stable minimal fluctuations mainly alk but is always within 0.2 sitting at 8.4no thet are lps .grow like sps !!!
Definitely not an montipora of any kind. More of a favia of some sort. Just want to know so I can put with other corals of the same to avoid a warfareUr 1st pic looks like an undata. Either digitata or montipora. Hths

I been in the hobby a long time, but learned something new today thanks. Interesting when i was confirming your statement and googled hydnophora two of the first three links were Liveaquaria and Tidal Gardens sales page which both list as an SPS. Further research confirmed your statement but found it interestingno thet are lps .grow like sps !!!
