Could anyone tell me what this coral is I got out of a mystery box at a coral show? It hasn’t done anything in about two weeks… TIA

It looks like some kind of Favite.

Also, don't be too alarmed but corals usually don't do much in our tanks!

That’s kinda what I was thinking also but I was unsure because I’ve never owned one… I wonder why it’s not happy everything else in the tank seem be just fine hmmm last mystery coral for this guy!

Yeah they can be pretty finicky, goni/alveo is my observation due to the fact that the flesh is pretty uniform at the base, the uneven indents. and you can sort of see the lil poylps right in the middle lol.

Sounds good bro, if you have reef roids or a powdery type food, try spot feeding it, these guys tend to have appetitites that need to be sated to stay healthy!
