Hey everyone! So I bought this Fluval Evo 13.5 secondhand on Saturday and the live rock that came with the tank had some mystery coral. The tank had been up and running for 2 years prior to my purchasing of it, so whatever coral this is has been residing in this tank for a while. Unfortunately all my photos are quite poor as it has been closed up ever since I reset the tank up in my living room. I really would like to keep this coral alive if possible, but I am a beginner to reefing, so Im most definitely out of my depth.

what are your test parameters?
What lights do you have?
Where is that anemone in your tank?

Anemones are are fragile but some can be very resilient. That said to thrive they need good flow and good light. Also they are very sensitive to shifts in water chemistry so your parameters need to be on point. Most people in this hobby don’t add them until their system is established and chemistry is more static.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how I save it? Or is it too late?
If it's still attached to the rock, that's a good sign. Just leave it alone for a bit and see if it improves. If you moved it Saturday, it may just be pouting.
