Coral id?

Does anyone have any guesses on what this coral might be? He wasn’t looking so great and now he’s making a lively comeback.

I don’t believe so. Although I have not touched it to me it looks soft and reminds me of the stem of my mushroom Coral

The back story is we bought live rock and this was the only chunk we kept bc others had zoanthids we didn’t want. So on this rock there is a Yuma mushroom type and this guy along with the purple star polyps and a couple feather dusters

Looks like an Aussie hairy mushroom to me too.

it doesn’t have a mouth in the center like my other mushroom. I’m also new to corals so I have no idea. Purplish brown with tiny green tips. About the size of a quarter
