I think it's a torch but I'm not sure. I've had this for about a month and that's about as long as the tentacles stretch out(a little longer when the lights are out).

Looks like a torch to me. It might be adapting to parameters still.
 
Kinda looks like a torch. If it’s not extending more than that it’s unhappy.
I just moved him to the sand bed with less flow, have any suggestions as to placement?
 
Yep, I agree with the others. Looks like a young Torch coral. It's a softy. If you get more pics when it opens up... That would help too. Otherwise for the time, look up Torch corals.
 
Try a different spot for a few days and if that doesnt work try another. eventually, you will find the sweet spot.

It's a bit agressive, waterflow is medium and it should be placed somewhere at the bottom with moderate lighting.
 
If that’s the angle it’s placed it’s not really ideal. Point the tentacles up toward the light and give it gentle random flow.

It's facing the light, I just took a terrible photo lol
