Hi picked up a lovely frag today, my LFS owner wasn’t entirely sure what it is but thought it was possibly a cyphastrea of some sort? Can anyone tell me exactly what it is?

Thanks for your replies, took another pic but I’m not the best at getting good photos so not sure if it’ll help!

I have quite a large Hollywood stunner chalice but it plates while this has fully encrusted around the piece of rock and its pretty much ball shaped? Are there chalices which encrust?

It will encrust then plate out, flow patterns can dictate growth shape too as well as different chalice species can have different growth patterns.
