No it got some nice colours in it, nice find. Don’t forget to give it space as it will kill anything nearby.

You are taking about the coral on the bottom correct? If so its echinata.

Its a hardy coral but aggressive species and can devour neighbors with mesenterial filaments. Bottom of the tank, low to medium indirect flow will keep it happy.

In terms of quality is this a fairly nice one? I've never seen and acan with a patter like it before!

It is very nice, a variant I've seen often. They do come in some crazy colors though but fetch a higher price tag.

That's alright. This is a colony of about 6-7inches by 3-4 inches. It's not small
