Hey I’m new to coral and a family member bought me a combo rock with different corals in it... I split it up cause it had gsp on it which I know can take over other corals so my question is is what are these other two corals that came on it ?

Leathers are an overlooked group of corals. There are some of us that still love them.

I personally veer away from leathers due to the toxins negatively impacting my acros. They are super cool corals in a softie tank that runs carbon

Ok well its good thing I run Carbon then lol just out habit from my freshwater tanks.

It really effects the sps and some lps. As long as you run carbon no issues.

Ok great thanks for the help if anyone has more tips on keeping leathers please let me know!! I have one more in the tank and another coming in from an auction @Joe Knows Reefs had the other night.
