I picked up a zoa frag 2 weeks ago and there was another coral growing on the frag plug. It also looked like it was encrusting the frag rack too. I thought it was some sort of SPS at first glance but it's got edges that are sort of soft in appearance, certainly doesn't have a "skeleton" that I can see. Can anyone help ID this?
I snapped the picture right after a water change so the zoas were closed up.

Cant see upclose details that well in pics but looks like pavona from polyp orientation.

Google "blue pavona" and compare

After a quick google search I think your right. This photo is almost identical. I’m assuming this is an encrusting coral?
