Coral ID?

Just got this "splatter hammer" coral but I don't see any...hammers?

Do they develop the hammers later on? I also see some tentacles tbat are branching/have multiple tips

Hammers only have single heads, i see multiple heads in the pic and are round not hammer shaped. Still going with frogspawn

Do you mean tentacles, or polyps? I see many of both "hammer" and split tentacles.

Multiple 'heads on tentacles. Hammers have single 'head's tentacles. It Looks to be bi-color frogspawn

I was thinking frogspawn as well since the tips of the tentacles dont seem to fan out like a normal hammer

Not as below in your image. With the Genus and species revisions we could likely go all day saying which one it is. See F. paraancora below with branched tentacles.

Any way. Characteristics of both have been seen in both species. Environmental factors can also cause a morphological change.

These are not hammers and obviously not the Euphyllia the OP has. Pink tip frogspawn not it

They are bi-color frogspawn like I have in my tank (below). 100% . Hammers only have tentacles with one head and are shaped like a Hammer when looking at it sideways.
