No problem! I believe it may be grube's gorgonian, but I'm not certain. Either way you have a good starting point if you want a more specific ID- It's a really nice piece!

Found it in Petco for $20 and I got it! first ever live purchase from a Petco so we'll see how it goes haha luckily the tank was very clean! Btw, its going in my Wartskin Frogfish tank, I see you might have one base off your profile picture!

Thank you! I need to update the thread! This is my first time with a predator let alone frogfish! my biggest thing is trying to get a feeding routine down, I fed him 3 shrimp yesterday and he's back hunting today so idk if he's still hungry or just looking around!

My frogfish is pretty active sometimes- I don't think hunting behavior has much to do with feeding schedule, but I could be wrong. Keep a solid schedule of feeding and feed once every 5-7 days until it looks pregnant- you'll know when it's full
