Its definitely not an acro it sways in current slightly but returns immediately after flow stops. Was told by LFS that light dosent matter flow is more important as it uses it to catch food. Never gave me a name also somthing about it being like a leather

Ahh well I dont feed my tank daily anything lol. I dont use reef roids. Never seen the need. As long as my fish produce poop that produce no3 and po4 there has been no reason for me.to directly feed any of my corals In over 3 years. only dose phyto 2 times a week if there lucky.
I keep mostly sps.
Hopefully it can survive off that. I dont go out of my way to feed corals either.
They get broadcast.
And that's all I give em lol.
Maybe some aminos once a month but mostly water changes and whatnot if its photosynthetic then it dosent require food it can get what it needs from the light????(not sure) does this animal require feeding or are they just supplemental rather than a requirement???

matters if its nps or photosynthetic (im not 100% on gorg species id)but most gorgs need at least a couple broadcast feeding per week with some sort of small food item like reef roids, reef chili, lrs reef renzy etc

Im not great at gorgonian species ID, but Id compare it to muricea sp. maybe muricea elongata ?

If so its photosynthetic, but will benefit from occasionally feeding planktonic sized suspended food items.

Cool piece!
