I saw this coral at my LFS and was wondering what it is. A person working there said it was a cyphastrea but it doesn't look like one. Can someone identify these for me please?

Notice how the polyps are close together unlike cyphastrea

Without seeing the polyps extended, it’s nearly impossible to say with certainty what it is.

I have 2 cyphastrea in my tank where the polyps are close together.

I have went to the shop on 2 different days and it always looked like this when I saw it.

Google image search can show plenty if cyphastrea with polyps close together. Feel that's more of a growth pattern than species trait. Still vote for meteor shower
