Heeeey! So my cycling tank with live rock has been cycling almost 2 weeks now. I had die off which I vacuumed a good bit off last night when doing a water change. This coral was covered in it so I thought it was a goner, however tonight I turned my light on for a few minutes to check on my hitchhikers and noticed it was actually opened up! What exactly is it? And anything special that I need to do for it? Thank in advance!

Can't say for sure but looks a bit like tubastraea which is a non-photosynthetic coral (you have to feed them).

OH joy lol feed them as in copepods? Because a bazillion turned up over the past 24 hours

Or something like Reefroids or phytoplankton might be better.

I actually spent an absurd amount of time looking them up and did see cup coral looking the most similar IMO.
