Just got this coral a couple days ago. Looked like a mushroom coral to me and thought I could easily handle that. The lady at the store didnt know what it was and said it might be some type of "acro". I didnt think it was a stony coral but I may be wrong.

Lets see what you guys think.

It's an acan, or micromussa if you want to be hip with it

Sure she didn’t say “acan”? Looks like a Micromussa, but I’m not great with coral ID.

It is a stony coral, but it’s a large polyp stony coral as opposed to a small polyp stony coral.

Thanks guys, I think you might be right and she said acan because based on other pictures I see online it sure does look like an acan coral.

Anywho, should be a good addition as it grows
