Coral ID

Hi, does anyone know actual ID for this coral, already in my tank more than 3 years given by friends and until now i still not sure what actual ID for this coral

It’s a paly of sorts.
Perhaps grandis?

I've never seen a paly/zoa without any of those tiny hairs/tentacles around the outside. Very interesting! Tagging along to learn more.

i think it might be a mushroom coral and not a zoa, but very interesting pattern

Agree that it looks like a form of Paly grandis.

i did too just odd that it has zero tentacles, it is a bit blurry so its hard to tell if it is a zoa or mushroom mouth. The outer rim looks more mushroom from the pic to me just based on the lack of tentacles

Looking at it again, you may be right. They do look a lot like rhodactis.

I actually think there may be tentacles just really small and can't be seen in the pic since it is a bit dark and blurry.

Nope, your's are 10x better with the gold speckles. Just adds a lot of texture.
