Coral ID

Guy in local are is breaking down his reef tank can I get ID on these two coral ima tank them to my lfs to frag tomorrow after I pick them up, any precaution to take before I add them to my tank besides dip?

First is a mushroom (possibly a ricordea) and the second looks to be a candy cane.
