Thanks, I know it’s an LPS but it’s not a torch because she told me what it was called and I have forgotten but I asked and she said no to a torch

Looking at the skeleton, possibly an Elegance coral (Catalaphyllia jardinei)? I am on my phone, so hard to tell.

That just triggered a memory (sorry that sounds silly) but it was a type of Catalaphyllia so would that be the most likely one? It’s opened up now so here is a better pic

Looks like a frag of elegance for sure.

Just google elegance coral frag and take a look at those to compare. Most will be all the way open, but you can compare the skeleton of yours to the pics. Sorry I cannot be more help, still on my phone and a cracked screen is no good lol.

How do I check sorry I’m quite a beginner with corals. About that photo it was straight after I added it to the tank

I’m having a hard time seeing a elegance coral from that frag .
but the last time I’ve bought one was when they were $30 for a large colony .

it’s tentacles look similar to some sort of anemone .
