Can someone identify what coral is growing right under the leather? It looks like Xenia. If thats what it is, I need to figure out a way to get rid of it. It showed up on the base of this coral that I got.

No. They disguise very well with the leather. Its at the very base of the leather.

A little hard to see …. But resembles some sort of clove . Or odd shaped mushroom
Now that you mention it, it may be a sort of clove. Ive never had them so not sure if they would overtake the tank like xenia would.

If it’s a clove . Yea they can take
Over and spread .
As I said it’s hard to see to give a positive identification

Looks like Xenia or something similar like Clavularia, basically a Xenia looking clove. If it’s on the rock you can scrape under the rock a bit and get it off if that’s what you want.
Make sure you get it all off, since it could regrow if you leave a bit of tissue behind.
