Coral ideas?

I am looking for a good choice of a coral that I can place on my overflow box and it will eventually cover it. I am open to suggestions.

I was kind of thinking Gsp but wasn't sure if it would spread to the rockwork. None of it is touching the overflow and the only thing that connects the two is my sand bed.

What about cyphastrea, not sure if that would work or not?

Most likely, but it would have to go across your sand bed first and that would be the prime time to cut it
