Coral identification and diagnosis?

Hi all! Was hoping to get clarification on type of coral.
Think it is hydnophora.
Have had it for 6 months.....just started noticing the spots on it .....is this normal?

Yes you right on the Hydnophora.
The spots look like something isxeating it.
What kind of fish you have in the system?
Can you dip the coral in a coral dip or Bayern asap to see if something comes off like a pest or so?

The spots are obvious tissue damage which is surprising due to the aggressive nature of Hydnophora's.

I dipped the coral when i brought it home. Then it was QT'd for 76 days. When I put in display tank it looked great.
I just recently noticed the spots.
I have:
hippo tang
3 green chromis
3 fire fish
1 midas blennie
snails
crabs
1 brittle star
