Coral Identification - I think it's common.

Have an orange "plate like" coral from a plug. Anyone know what it is? The chromis seem attracted to it.

From the polyp structure I would say it is a porities. Definitely don't believe it is a chalice.

Yes after seeing those pictures it is 100% Pavona Maldivensis. Hypan nailed it!
