Sorry about the blurry image, I just took a screenshot from my YouTube video. Can anyone identify this specific coral located in Key West, FL on the WWII Vandenberg Wreck?

Dendrophyllia of some sort, likely tubastrea aka sun coral. They're an NPS species so they require daily or every other day feeding to survive.

thank you! It was a dive I did in 2022 and now that I'm starting up my tanks I got to wondering lol

Not looking to put them in if they are invasive. Just general curiosity.

Dendrophylliid, not Dendrophyllia. But yeah, likely Tubastrea coccinea; they're an invasive species in the West-Atlantic
