So I bought this coral a couple of months ago almost dead from Petco for like $2 and have no clue what it is. I thought at the time it was maybe some type of montipora? Now that it is finally healthyish again I'd like to properly I'd it. Anyway if y'all could help me out I would appreciate it!

Looks like an Acropora, specific type I do not know. Good job on the save.

Curious to see what others say.

That is actually why I was asking because of the way it was growing I wasn't sure, I always buy whatever they have that they will sell me for under 5 bucks when almost dead, so far I have about an 85% success rate which I don't think is terrible. I am excited to see what this one does and excited to see what people think it is

try moving it up higher in the tank? might color up better and start growing vertically.

I just added a bunch of rock and had to temporarily move everything around. It has been living a lot higher up and will be going back up again :)
