Something that I did and still do, I keep a small notebook. I took down as much info on what it was from the store, friend, raffle, etc. I would read, read, read about what it was and what its needs were. I informed myself about as much as I could about the hobby before I started. Now my notebook is filled with the "names" of all the corals that I hoard. Yes, my name is Bryan, I am a coral hoarder.
I am learning to this day 8 years after my first system. Always inform yourself before adding something new. Read, Read, Read!
