Thank you, people. I should have satiated that it is not my tank - it was a picture posted on another site - but the circled coral really caught my eye and I would like to use it in my own reef which I am currently planning out.
I have zoomed in on the image, but the Palys suggestion seems to fit.

Thank you. Is it a palys, and what are the issues with it? I’m trying to make sensible choices with the long term in mind, so it would be interesting to know of any issues.

If you're interested in palys/zoas, look into palytoxin. In a lot of zoas it's not the biggest threat in the world because most of them don't have lethal amounts. Palys more frequently have much higher amounts of palytoxin. If you get this, just wear gloves, and eye protection wouldn't hurt either.

Those look like Cinnamon Pally or simular.
Not bad in toxicity. Green ones are bad.

Sure looks paly to me, yet all are not toxic.
You simply have to respect them.
Handle with gloves, leave them alone, don’t squeeze them, don’t eat them, don’t frag them.
Some multiply very fast, don’t let them take over
