Coral identify

Looks kinda like a ticked off octospawn or nepthia. Is it a soft coral or have a hard skeleton.

Definitely appears to be some type of soft leather. It’s definitely retracted but you can see at the base it’s a leather. Sinularia or nephthia would be my guess but hard to really tell. How did it look at the store?

It looked like a tree not a keyna tree though they didn't have names other that zoanthids that was only it

My issue is, it looks like it has a skeleton and a neck band..

Does coral have a skeleton?

I see what you mean but a softie that’s been drooping will have those creases. I’m think maybe a Kenya that’s really retracted. I feel I could mimic that photo with my current kenya

I stopped keeping softies, which is why i was asking the op.

No skele, its probably a colt or sinularia.

Kenya’s can look very different depending on how happy they are. This was mine the day I added it versus 24 hours later
