My new guys are out of QT and in the display! They are right away and are loving the extra space. The smaller clown and my previous one got along great right away.

The tomini is more than happy to graze all day on the rocks which is great.

I also moved some of my frags I got around and epoxied then down.

I think I found a bobbit worm in my tank last night. When I Fed my tank I saw a 12” or larger worm on the underside of a large rock. I removed the rock and put in freshwater hoping to flush him out but he stayed inside (I can see part of him).

I will be smashing the rock up tonight.

Uuu. I hope it was something else.
Good luck

Same here, but this guy was HUGE! Even if it wasn’t something bad, at that size he can’t be good. I honestly screamed when I saw it.... and I’m also shocked that I’ve never noticed it beforehand.

It was indeed a bobbit. Could get a good picture because as I broke into the rock, he turned to mush. All in all he was about 12” I think.

Any idea where the worm came from? That's wild! I fascinates me, the things that sneak into our systems.

Honestly no idea.... I freshwater dipper the two pieces of “live” rock I got and the rest was man made dry rock... I think that it might have slipped in as an egg? But that this was horrifying for sure.

Had a minor mishap involving ro water and m power supply for one of my Vortech, but another is on the way. I also Redid my aquascspe, but I am waiting for my lens from PolypLabs before I post too many new photos... but here’s some blue washed out photos of some recent additions. I am thinking about upgrading my skimmer from the sca-302 to either the reef octopus regal or bubble magnus curve 7 elite... Havent decided which yet... also playing around with the idea of moving the power head on the right lower and adding a maxspect gyre....

This anemone is quiet honestly gorgeous and this picture does it no justice whatsoever. He’s happy in the tank but has chosen to put his foot inside a hole in a rock so most of him is hiding .

I’m going to mess around with my flow a bit to see if I can improve it once my new power supply for the EcoTech on the back wall comes in. The gyre would mostly be to crest solid flow at the top of the tank.

As promised here’s a few photos since my lens came in from Polyp Labs.

Being on vacation away from my tank has been nerve wrecking.... but moving my security cameras to view my tank/sump has been a godsend.

After New Years I’ll be adding some more fish. I think I might get 3 small anthias or potentially a fairy wrasse, but I’m worried about them jumping.

Nice. Got a camera for Christmas myself for the tank.

RIP Phillip the tomini tang. Came back from vacation after a red eye flight to an algae covered tank and a missing tomini tang. Tank parameters test fine with NO3 being undetectable after 3 tests. Not entirely sure what happened but I’m assuming he wasn’t eating and died.

I didn’t find his body but I did find a spot where something was definitely eaten by the crabs. He was my favorite fish.

Today’s a sad day.
What a bummer, sorry to hear about your tang.
