Coral losing color

Not sure what this coral is. I got it as a freebie. It has been growing really well but has recently been losing the red color. Looking for any advice.

Looks like a Monitpora capricornis. I would feed the fish more or dose aminos. The nitrate is practically 0

Thanks, i dose neo nitro almost daily if i don't forget but it's been a struggle to keep up at acceptable levels. Not a lot of algae in the tank imo but something must be consuming nitrates. I do have a little bit of hair algae on the rock and back glass. I have also been feeding red sea a+b and reef roids occasionally. I'll try bumping this up.

I would up the red sea reef energy but not the reef roids.

An update on this coral. I'm not exactly sure what caused the turnaround, but it is almost totally recovered.
