Hello, I am new the the hobby and this website. Most of my coral is looking a bit unhappy, hammer is never extended, annenome was doing good but is much smaller now and Zoas don't open. My finger coral seems to be doing quite well however. I have a 20 gallon cube, keloray ar150 & jebao wavemaker. My last parameter were:
Temp - 25.8
NO3 - 8
Ca - 420
Mg - 1560
Kh - 10.1
PO4 - 0
Salinity - 1.025

Your phosphates should not be at 0. Need to raise them. Low phosphates will cause corals to retract. Could also lead to Dino’s. So feed more to get phosphates up.

Alk seems a bit high.
Agree with raising PO4, how old is the tank?

i would agree with the PO, assuming the rest of your params are good. before i switched salts, i was 12 kh with the rest of the params almost the same as yours, and my hammer was more than happy. biggest difference between your params and mine are that im near a .2 for PO

I have the Red Sea Phosphate Pro test kit, which can be difficult to tell the exact reading. Perhaps I should invest in a Hanna checker for that

Most definitely! I also had the Red Sea kit and it was awful, very hard to get precise reading. Got the Hana PO4 tester and never looked back. FYI - to make Hana easier to use, I fill 2 test vials w tank water. Mix one vial w PO4 reagent n mix. Then when u turn on Hana tester, u’ll have tank water n reagent water already prepared n ready to go instead of rushing to mix reagent in time. GL

Do that
