I’ve had my tank set up nearly a year. (Dec) Nothing seems to be growing except my GSP and Kenya. My nem split once and both were pretty pink and about the size of my hand, now they are a dull purple and very small. Help!
My parameters are:
Salinity- 1.026
Temp-77
PH- 7.8-7.9
Phos- 19
DKH-7.0
CA-1340
MG- 1400
Nitrate-3
I’m running a GFO and C02 scrubber. I feed LRS once a day and reef raids 3X a week.

Bring your calcium up to 400... seems a bit low. Do you do water changes at all?

What are your fish/inverts? Do the corals seem aggravated...or do they fully open throughout the day?

Yes about 20% every few weeks. I have 3 clowns, 2 yellow tangs, 1 drawf angel, 1Chromis, 2 gobies and 3 cleaner shrimp. No corals don’t seem agitated at all.

Calcium is low, I shoot for 440. Phosphate is very high, should try to be between 0.03-0.05. If you meant current USA orbit as current for your lighting those lights are really not that great. The will keep stuff alive but not grow much, maybe softies. I would look into a lighting upgrade.

Ok thank you

As mentioned, lighting could be an issue for the new, but I think your Alk and calcium are a little low for the amount of nutrients in your tank. One thing that helped me grow corals in my tank was increase flow. Seemed like that changed everything. My euphyllias sprouted heads quickly. SPS corals took off for sure. I keep my calcium at around 480 and Alk at about 8.4. I dose equal parts ESV 2-part. sometimes you have to experiment to find out what works.

What is ESV?
