coral on terrapin shell

can you have coral grow on a terrapin in a reef tank? and hope the coral doesnt die when you do water changes? or will it hurt the turtle. i think it would be an intresting idea if it was possible but i highly doubt it would work.

google says no so i will go with it. possibly though, you could make a harmless "clamp" that would be like a dog sweater with xenia on it and the turtle wears the xenia sweater.
