This seems to be spreading fast. I am not sure if it is a coral or something else.
Either way how do I get rid of it off main rocks?

+1 for star polyps. They are a popular starter coral, but grow very fast. Anyone I know that has had star polyps has had them take over the whole tank. I've never had them personally, but I'd probably remove the rocks and jpick/scrub them off, then return the rock to the tank. Some people have some luck keeping them on a smaller island rock where they can easily trim back the ones that go onto the sandbed, but harder to deal with once on the main rock structure.
