coral placement 70gal - please advice

I've always dipped with the same water. Also I float my corals and then add them right to my tank. There is NH3 and NH4, NH3 is harmless and NH4 is deadly. When something gets shipped the O2 dropped and so does the PH. NH3 occurs in low PH water. When you start aclimating it the pH rises turning all NH3 into NH4 and it can be enough to harm and even kill some coral. This is worse when shipping fish. NH4 is ammonia. Once I open my bag I allways put it right into the tank after dipping it

@Auto-pilot - I stumbled on this cruising coral threads. I'm in mpls as well! - I've so far dipped frags in a mix of the water they shipped in and half water from my tank. Would the pH rise of mixing the two water be enough to raise ammonia that much? Typically toss right into the rack after the dip and rinse, but is there any concern during the dip of a small spike?
