Coral placement help

Hi all. Curious to know what the placement for this coral should be. It looks happy and all but not sure if it should be flat looking up or sideways as it currently is.

I'd probably place that one on the sand bed, flat, polyps facing upward toward the light. I don't think mounting it vertically will hurt it, but it might slow the growth a little bit, and if I remember correctly they're already slow growers.

I would agree with Demon, start with the sandbed, and as you start figuring out what it likes in the tank move it accordingly.
