I have an odd question. We bought our first coral for our 58g, a torch, it is in quarantine right now.
It is on a relatively unstable base. When adding it to the display tank I have been reading about epoxying it to rock. My question is if we glue the coral where we think it works(or likes) and it doesnt what are our options?

Superglue is usually relatively easy to break and then move the coral

Superglue gel works pretty good underwater. However I puttied mine to a small flat piece of live rock as its permanent base. This way you can move the rock until you the find the perfect spot. Once you find it, you can putty the small rock in place for a more secure footing
This is how my frog spawn looks at 2 years old. Went from 2 heads to more than 20, and the putty is still holding strong. Superglue probably wouldn't hold this current size.

Holy smoke that's a big frogspawn!! I'm digging it . What I do is use superglue in the tube. And make a glue air bubble underwater then place the bubble were I want the coral. Then push coral base into the bubble and rock to pop it and it works great. Saw that on a BRS episode.

Wait, wait, wait... What? Do you have a link? Sounds awesome.

^^^^ THIS! BRS FTW!

Ha, looks like I've been using this method on accident by applying obnoxious amounts of glue right before hitting the water. I'll have to try the under water application!
