Coral placement question

This was marked as green sinularia but it may be capnella instead (open to opinions on that!). These pictures are about 18 days apart. The placement is under a little ledge so it looks like it’s seeking higher light. Should I move it up or just out from under the overhang?

Fair point. Can it or the acan do damage to each other?
